Andre Hoffmann
Mr Andre Hoffmann studied economics at the University of St. Gallen, after which he obtained a Masters of Business Administration from INSEAD. In 1983, he was appointed Head of Administration of the Station Biologique de la Tour du Valat in the Camargue, France. In 1985, Mr Hoffmann joined James Capel and Co. Corporate Finance Ltd, London as an associate at the Continental Desk, and later became Manager for European Mergers and Acquisitions. In 1991, he joined Nestle UK, London as a brand manager.
In 1994, Mr Hoffmann established a family office dealing with asset management and board directorships. He is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Roche Holding Ltd., a member of the Board of Givaudan Ltd., a member of the Board of Glyndebourne Productions Ltd and Brunswick Capital Ltd, as well as Chairman of Nemadi Advisors Ltd, Living Planet Fund Management Company S.A. and Massellaz S.A.

Eric G. Sarasin
Mr Eric G. Sarasin trained as a banker in Basel. He graduated with a business degree in finance and investments from Babson College, Boston, Mass., USA and is a graduate of the Swiss Banking School.
Starting in 1980, Mr Sarasin launched his career in banking at Pictet & Co. in Geneva, Switzerland. This was followed by further training at Morgan Guarantee Trust and Kidder, Peabody in New York, where he subsequently spent some years working with Citibank N.A. In 1988 he moved to Bank Sarasin and was promoted as partner in 1994. Prior to his appointment as Head of Private Banking for Basel, Geneva and Lugano, he was responsible for Swiss brokerage services for foreign institutions, the development of institutional marketing and the Group's Private Banking International business unit.
Since 1 January 2006 Mr Sarasin has been appointed as CEO for Private and Institutional Clients, Switzerland Division Bank Sarasin. He is President of the German-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Treasurer of WWF International, and is a member of the Swiss Advisory Board of the Swiss-American Association.

Chiew Y. Chong
M. Chiew Y. Chong a été directeur des finances et de l'administration au sein du WWF International, la première organisation mondiale de protection de la nature*. Son expérience au sein du WWF a été enrichie par sa participation au conseil d'administration de TRAFFIC** International, le réseau de surveillance du commerce de la faune et de la flore sauvages. Après avoir passé de nombreuses années dans le domaine de la conservation, les activités actuelles de M. Chong comprennent un engagement en tant que membre du conseil d'administration du WWF-Malaisie.
D'origine chinoise, M. Chong a étudié à Londres, où il a obtenu un diplôme de comptable agréé en 1972. Au cours de ses études, il a suivi des programmes variés dans différentes écoles commerciales, dont l'INSEAD et l'IMD. Avant de rejoindre le WWF, il a travaillé pendant plus de 20 ans dans des multinationales du commerce et de l'industrie, d'abord avec des fiduciaires et des courtiers puis dans le domaine informatique.
Fervent défenseur des mérites sociaux et financiers des investissements éthiques, M. Chong a été, en collaboration avec M. Hoffmann, une personne centrale dans les discussions avec UBS Global Asset Management et la banque Sarasin en vue de la création du Living Planet Fund, un fonds d'investissement socialement responsable de droit luxembourgeois.

Matteo Perrotta
Mr Matteo Perrotta holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola College/ University of Montreal.
Mr Perrotta is Executive Director and Head of Business Development & CRM (Customer Relationship Management) at UBS Global Asset Management. He is responsible for fund administration clients, acquisition of new mandates and for business development initiatives across Europe. He was formerly member of the UBS Investment Fund Services Management Board from 2004 to 2006.
Mr Perrotta began his career at UBS with Systor (a subsidiary of UBS) in 1999 as Sales and Marketing Manager responsible for CRM strategy and services. In 2001 he assumed responsibility as Head, Operations Fund Marketing EMEA within UBS Global Asset Management where he managed all sales related operational tasks, coordinated operational settlement processes and standards, and was involved in the definition and promotion of electronic settlement mechanisms, including internet platforms. From 2002 to 2004 he was business manager of the UBS Global Asset Management's CRM application and was instrumental in the application's global expansion and rollout.
Prior to joining UBS, Mr Perrotta worked in the Information Technology sector focusing on the financial services industry. He held senior sales and marketing positions at various global companies including Digital Equipment Corporation and Compaq Computer.

Dirk Spiegel
Mr Dirk Spiegel is General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer, and Member of the Investment Fund Management Team at UBS Global Asset Management, since 2005. Previously, Mr Spiegel held the position of Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer, responsible for leadership of all compliance and risk control units within UBS Investment Fund Services. His responsibilities included setting and defining risk control standards, providing advice and assistance, co-ordination of risks related themes, due diligence sign-offs and providing compliance and risk control guidelines covering different subjects such as securities lending, voting, class actions and derivatives.
Prior to joining UBS, Mr Spiegel held the position of General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer at Vontobel Global Asset Management & Investment Fund Services. In this capacity, he headed all legal, compliance and risk control units within Vontobel Asset Management and Investment Fund Services worldwide. Mr Spiegel joined Vontobel in 1999 having previously worked with the legal firm of Grand & Nisple in St. Gallen, Switzerland. |
